What can each of us and all of us together do for our country during the war?

How to help our wounded who have gone through the difficult path of limb amputation?

How to live in new realities for all those who have been changed by this war forever?

Exactly about this, and also about:

  • international partnership and a new volunteer project for our defenders,
  • the French team spirit and a new philosophy in the work of rehabilitators and psychologists, who are able to help open the door to a new life for our wounded soldiers and their families,
  • and also about an incredible journey and exciting discoveries,
  • real emotions and touching teardrops of a new meeting with French colleagues who opened their hearts and knowledge to support Ukraine,
  • all this and much more – today at the Briefing “Psychological rehabilitation of wounded with amputation. The French experience” held at the Alfred Nobel University from the participants of the international volunteer project “Rehabilitation – 2024”.
  • In January 2024, a group of students and teachers of the Department of Innovative Technologies in Pedagogy, Psychology and Social Work of Alfred Nobel University took part in an internship in France at the André Lalande Rehabilitation and functional readaptation centre (Noth, France) and the Céleste-Obernai Hospital Center (Céleste, France).

The coordination of the project from Ukraine is carried out by the Centre for Francophone Programmes of Alfred Nobel University. The project is implemented in cooperation with the “France-Ukraine Exchange” Federation (Guéret, France), Dnipro State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports in Dnipro, the Alliance Française in Dnipro, and with the support of the Regional Directorate of Central and Eastern Europe of the World Agency of Francophone Universities (Bucharest, Romania).

European partners of the project, representatives of the Department of Science, Higher and Professional Education of the Department of Education and Science of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, teachers and students of Alfred Nobel University and our guests took part in the briefing.

The project is gaining momentum and opening up new prospects for its development. We are grateful to all our partners, participants and guests of the Briefing and continue our work for our country and our defenders!
