The library of Alfred Nobel University provides access to full-text resources on the Research4Life portal, which will be available until the end of 2024. ANU has signed an agreement, and the library has received access codes to informational resources.

The Research4Life portal provides access to electronic collections of books and journals, international publications and various databases.

Research4Life

The Research4Life portal comprises five programmes:

  • GOALI: Social sciences, humanities, and law.
  • HINARI: Health and medicine.
  • AGORA: Agriculture.
  • AORE: Ecology, environmental protection, energy, and engineering.
  • ARDI: Innovations and technologies. Science and technology.

With R4L, Ukrainian researchers now have the opportunity to access full-text materials from up to 200 well-known international publishers.

Out of the 55 largest publishers in the world (Global 50 The World Ranking of the Publishing Industry 2019), 7 are accessible for users from Ukraine, namely:

  • Cambridge University Press(access to 443 journals)
  • Elsevier(access to 4,494 journals and 26,735 books, 672 journals and 945 books of Clinical Key)
  • John Wiley & Sons (access to 2,032 journals and 25,072 books)
  • Oxford University Press (access to 502 journals and 23,755 books)
  • Springer Natur (access to 2,855 journals and 246 books)
  • Thieme (access to 180 journals)
  • Wolters Kluwer – Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (access to 528 journals)

At the same time, according to another annual ranking compiled by The Research School for Socio-Economic and Natural Sciences of the Environment (SENSE Research School), Ukrainian researchers have access to 11 out of the 24 largest international book publishers, specifically:

  • John Wiley & Sons (Books)
  • Johns Hopkins University Press
  • MIT Press
  • Oxford University Press
  • Pennsylvania State University
  • Princeton University Press
  • SAGE Publishing (Books)
